The Friends |
Verdict: This drama based on a novel of the same
name by Kazuo Ishiguro put up lots of moral messages. It leaves you thinking
about the friend’s situation and makes you think what would you have done with
your chance. All the characters add something different to the story. If you
have read the book you will know the ending and I feel the ending is very good
to the story even though I haven’t read the book. A dark drama well worth the
watch but some of the more casual movie fans may find the film a bit on the
slow side.
Ruth and Tommy |
Story Mark 9/10 Full of emotional charged scenes
with moral questions through out.

characters develops very well as the story unfolds.
Friendship Chemistry Mark 9/10 You can see
together the group are all friends apart they could be more or less.
Romantic Chemistry Mark 9/10 Tommy and Kathy
chemistry can be see through out.
Star Performances: Carey Mulligan and Andrew
Garfield show why they are so sort after in Hollywood with great performances.
Kathy |
Favourite Character: Kathy Deals with everything
so calmly.
Best Part: The last deferral scene makes the
ending what it is.
Kathy and Tommy |
Worst Part: The fact we know the tragic fate of
our heroes from the start.
Best Quote: Kathy ‘It had never occurred to me
that out lives, so closely interwoven, could unravel; with such speed. If I’d
known, maybe I’d have kept tighter hold of them.’
