Story: Set over 88 minutes this real time thriller
follows Sarah (Olsen) as she spends time at her family’s lake house. Things
take a bad turn, as Sarah must survive what horrors have got into the house.
First Thoughts: Inspired on true events is a much
over used selling point on movies, but from the trailer this looks like it
could have a very good scare value. Being a remake of Silent House 2010, which
is based on what happened in a small Uruguayan town in the 1940s, will always
bring out the haters, as the American remakes of overseas films don’t reach the
same level as original.

Elizabeth Olsen the third of the Olsen sisters follows her
brilliant performance in ‘Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene’ with this horror
thriller so we know we will get a an actress in a leading role who knows what
to do. Coming out about a month after ‘Woman In Black’ you expect this will
have a lot to live up to being the March horror movie. Overall it looks like a
very good-looking horror thriller I can’t wait to see this myself.
