Following the story told by Forrest Gump through his childhood with his mum and friend and crush Jenny, onto his teen years where he discovers he can run fast and play football. Forrest recounts his time in the army where he saves Lt Dan and meets Bubba who loves his shrimp. Bubba doesn't make it back and once released from the army Forrest starts shrimping and with the help of Lt Dan they start a very successful business. Forrest however is still in love with Jenny and sadly his mum passes away, however he reacquaints himself with Jenny and discovers he has a son.

  1. I like Rain Man too, and, in my opinion, it was a solid depiction of autism for its time. The King's Speech is terrific too, and I love the LotR trilogy. Great post!
